SNAPSHOT REPORT: Grow your own banana plants! The kit includes banana tree seeds, a windowsill greenhouse, yellow monkey stones, a pretend monkey or lemur, planting mixture and informative instructional sheet. Some of the smaller pieces require hand-eye coordination to manipulate. Children learn the steps involved in planting a seed and what it needs to grow. Patience is required, because it takes about one month for the plants to get large.
