Holidays provide good time to take stock of toys

My house holds one 3-year-old boy, one 1-year-old girl and hundreds of toys.
They overflow every storage box. Spread in a thin layer, they easily cover the floors of four rooms. The kids play with most of them but love very few of them – and they play just as happily with laundry baskets, cardboard boxes and pads of sticky notes.
